part of your exposure.

From the API behind your product to the contracts behind your protocol. Choose a focused assessment or connect both into one engagement.

01 / Application security

Penetration testing

See your application through an attacker’s eyes. Uncover weaknesses in access, APIs, and business logic before they become an incident.

  • Web applications & APIs
  • Authentication & access control
  • Business logic & attack chains

02 / Protocol security

Smart contract audits

Pressure-test the code that moves value. Examine contract logic, privileges, and protocol assumptions before a launch or upgrade.

  • Contract logic & permissions
  • Protocol mechanics & integrations
  • Economic assumptions & invariants

Evidence you can work with

A finding is only useful
if you can fix it.

Give engineering a reproducible issue and leadership a clear view of the risk. Every engagement is scoped around the decisions your team needs to make.

  • Know what was tested

    Documented scope, assumptions, and limitations.

  • Understand the actual impact

Evidence, severity rationale, and business context.

  • Move from finding to fix

    Actionable recommendations and retest status.

A clear engagement, start to finish

Your scope. Our focus.

Start with a conversation about what you’re building, what’s changing, and what you need to protect.

  1. 01

    Define the scope

Agree assets, access, testing boundaries, and delivery expectations.

  2. 02

    Test & investigate

Explore the agreed attack surface with tools, AI assistance, and expert analysis.

  3. 03

    Validate & prioritize

Confirm findings and explain the evidence, impact, and recommended fixes.

  4. 04

    Fix & recheck

Work through remediation and verify agreed fixes against the original findings.

Testing starts only after scope and authorization are agreed.

Before we begin

A few good questions.

Is this an automated scanner?

BreachLab offers scoped, expert-led assessments with AI assistance. Our proprietary scanner and knowledge engine are in development. The interactive examples on this page are demonstrations, not live scans.

Can you assess our entire Web3 application?

We can discuss a combined engagement covering your dApp, APIs, and smart contracts. Supported languages, chains, dependencies, and testing boundaries are confirmed during scoping.

What do we receive?

The proposed engagement includes a report with tested scope, validated findings, severity rationale, reproduction details, and remediation guidance. Retest coverage and deliverables are agreed before testing.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is based on the agreed scope: application size, contract complexity, access requirements, and review depth. Share your brief to start the scope discussion.

Does an audit guarantee security?

An assessment is a review of an agreed scope at a particular point in time. The report documents coverage and limitations. Changes to code, dependencies, or configuration can introduce new risks.

Cross-account record access

The fictional API authenticates a request but does not check whether the requested record belongs to the authenticated account.

Business impact

Another customer’s records could be disclosed across the tenant boundary. Actual severity depends on the data and access conditions.

Evidence

Environment: isolated example application
Actor: account A (standard user)
Resource owner: account B
Expected: authorization denied
Observed: example record returned
No real customer data used.

Recommended remediation

Enforce ownership and tenant authorization on the server for every object access. Use deny-by-default policy and add regression coverage for cross-account requests.

Retest criteria

Account A is denied access to account B’s records across applicable read and write operations. Authorized same-account access continues to work.

Coverage & limitations

A real report identifies the reviewed assets, code revision where applicable, dates, test conditions, exclusions, and unresolved assumptions.
